Listening to: Husky Rescue – The Blueberry Tree Part III

I would be insane by now if I hadn’t gotten back into my winter pattern. I swear my eyes rolled back in my head at the first sip of my coffee. Granted I’ve been up since 9am, and it’s almost 1pm now. I should’ve started the morning this way, I must start setting my coffeemaker to brew itself in the morning. Then they wouldn’t suck so bad.

The perfect winter morning: sitting back comfy and warm in your covers, listening to fantastic music. Sipping on your coffee, and reading a good book. Unfortunately the book(s) I want are not in possession at this current moment. I am trying to bribe my stepdad to go to the library for me to pick up the one I put on hold.

Anyway. I feel like death, I walked so much I am really sore. Again. I did this last week, but this week I hurt less. But, I’m going to attempt to customize today, I have a slight idea of something that might not suck. I don’t know. A whole desktop feels quite impossible at the moment.

Update:

I read Ghost World tonight, it had a lot more go on in the book I think, quite a bit different. I like different elements from both the movie and the book. Both amongst my favorites. But I do believe I like the book more than the movie as a whole. It’s just got a different overall feel that the film interpretation lacked.

I’ve got like three weeks with it from the library I could either return it fast and give others opportunity to read it. Since I had it sent there, OR selfishly keep it and read it a couple more times before I return it. Heh. Haven’t decided yet. :P

And it occurred to me the song I listed above must be in my top faves list, recently both times I listened to it through in the morning I was instantly put in a good mood. I think it’s more to do with my perfect morning than the whole layout I described. I dunno, but today has been post-rock/instrumental music day either way. They were basically the only vocal band I listened to all day.

Or if they do they’re only interested in my computer life. Unless they’re strange and happen to want to know about my real life. =P

Any remotely interesting thing I may have thought of for a blog I was to lazy to blog about. So I’m just gonna update you all a little. A lot of crap has happened in real life I’m not going to go into—also the fact that some of my friends may read this sort of bothers me. I usually always used to try to keep my online life separate, but the two are meshing. Slightly unsettling … I may be slowly turning into a shut-in though.

Aside from that. Computer problems are getting worse, some may know recently I tried to finally get away from the controlling aspect of using my mother’s laptop. And bought an old crappy laptop, yes it was a bad idea, but I was desperate. NOW I’m so desperate to get back to XP and my own da … ng machine I’m gonna try and fix my old computer, I think it could happen with some work. But I bloody hate desktops, somehow I’ll find a workaround though.

So besides what I’ve already mentioned … uh, there isn’t much to say. Except I may be also getting stranger and stranger. Certain people are rubbing off on me. And I myself am just getting worse, like I said shut-in UBER GEEK. I’m getting geekier, and weirder. I stopped watching TV entirely many months ago. Now I watch obscure independent films, foreign films, and cancelled television shows. But at least a plus about all this is I’ve been finding some really awesome music and movies. :D

Today I was such a girl. I mean in that weird girly kinda way. I was on the phone with one of my girlfriends and we were talking about men, AND emailing each other celebrities pictures we thought were hot lol. It was quite entertaining. =P

Also:

Eux Autres. This isn’t their album cover but I liked the picture. Anyway, I discovered them a little while ago but never had their full album. I finally got it yesterday and they are awesome. Not my fave but awesome.

Especially because their a local band near me! So I could easily go to one of their shows. Usually I always end up missing shows but I’d have more chances with them. I had previously forgotten they were local. AND to top it all off I found out about them on my own. No one told me about them so hah. ;D

And lastly. Today someone said “if I were a girl I’d totally rock this: (and linked some dress)” and I linked an outfit I’d wear if I were guy. But that prompted me to think/remember the thought I had the other day. Of if I could look like any one person in the world who would I choose? And that answer would be newly seen (by me) actress Katherine Moennig. Though she has an amazing voice too.

And I decided to link that particular picture because she was especially expressive and pretty in that one. Usually I see her kinda dressed down and such. But ya know what just to show her versatility (mainly through hair and outfit) here’s a second one—where she looks entirely different. And a super glamorous one. And yet another one that makes her look completely different.

I’ve got to talk to Alex, I’m bored of this blog theme, I want one like his. AND the archives annoy me, it has each day rather than each month. Anyways…

And for the heck of it I thought I’d post what I posted in GSM, ‘cause I’m happy I have good music to listen to now. Thanks to Aero and Antimatter. AND a few I found myself… dang it. o_O

It’s basically all (almost) of what I’m listening to all the time now.

Besides that… I’m gonna hang out with a friend today, not sure what we’re gonna do yet. But I’m hoping we get to go see some fireworks. Probably go out to dinner, etc. etc.

OH! And I almost forgot, someone who I admire (one of the elite really) on Custo said I was a legend!!!!! I almost fell off my bed when I read that. I mean it was in a featured post, and it was in passing, but that’s so not the point.

Ok so I’ve been slacking on the blogging.. but isn’t it easier to just combine what ought to be a slew of posts into one large one?

Anyway, I had a busy week. I think I went for ice cream on Tuesday, now I can’t remember. I saw Transformers on Wednesday. And was supposed to see Spider-man 3 on Thursday but yeah that didn’t happen, so that day sucked. I slept over at a friend’s Wednesday, and babysat two kids all of Thursday.

On Saturday it was a slow day, but I saw Evening that night. It was a sad movie like I expected, could’ve done with a slightly varied ending, but eh, I liked a nice amount of parts from it. On Sunday I went to a “BBQ” later on in the evening. Really it just had chips, beer, and cherries… but we all set off fireworks! And it was bloody awesome! I did have a great time even though I was tempted to stay home and customize. AND get this, I met a guy with an Irish accent, it was SO cool. (I love Ireland and am Irish) I wanted to ask him a bunch of questions but just didn’t get the chance too.

On the computer front: I submitted a new desktop, I had been working on it for a while now. It was supposed to have a musical wallpaper, but that just didn’t happen. And I’m excited for GAIA to be going on at Custo. But things seem to be taking off rather slowly, so eh.

Also: Most have already seen this, but this video has a fantastic song. I converted it and just love listening to it in the background. Though it doesn’t hurt I like instrumental, AND pianos.

THAT’S IT! I can’t freaking take it any more, I am an inch away from quitting customizing AGAIN! Last time I did because I got fed up with every thing, and couldn’t go any further. But this time Vista is gonna be the culprit! I am on the brink of insanity because of Vista. I lost access to a lot of my favorite programs. I was forced to update all programs so they’d work.

EVERY FREAKING HACK/MOD DOES NOT FREAKING WORK ON VISTA!!!!!!!!!!!! If I were to sit down and make a list of every thing that didn’t work it’d take all of my life! It’d be easier to make a list of the things that DO work. BESIDES all my old programs not working, new programs that are actually old and made for XP don’t freaking work on Vista! AND THEN there’s programs that claim to work on Vista that don’t!!!!

Just because I managed a new shot or two that don’t suck completely doesn’t mean I am happy in my customizing, FAR FROM IT! I am so pissed SO PISSED I went back around from pissed to calm lest I have a heart attack. I had finally got rid of my anger problem, UNTIL VISTA CAME ALONG! Ruined EVERYTHING I came to know and love about customizing computers. I tried to be a trooper, I TRIED to suck it up and custo as good as I could. BUT NOOOO!!!!!

And BESIDES the things I’ve already listed there’s TONS more I can’t even recall right now. I have to live with ICONS. Programs that ACTUALLY work for OTHER FREAKING PEOPLE, DON’T FREAKING WORK FOR ME!!!! And ya know I’m just done with it. I have lost hope entirely. I can’t just sit around and wait until Vista dies. I am gonna freakin’ quit again.

On a side note this video is just AMAZING. And relaxing. =P

EDIT: It’s amazing how a quarter gallon of ice cream just makes every thing better. ;D
